I've been coming here since 2017, and it's always been a reliable spot at the convention center. Their chicken fried rice is my go-to, and I usually ask for it extra spicy. The chefs have years of experience, and the quality has remained consistent over time. I also really enjoy their chili oil--it adds a great touch to the fried rice.
So yummy and hot and fresh. Very nice staff. My go to when I can't decide what to get for lunch.
I needed a linner before some meetings. So I wanted something other than Conference chicken or finger food. Siam Express was just that. I had the Beef Lo Mein (shocker) and it stacked up pretty well against others I have had. Followed that with some hot and sour soup, which, there again, stacked up pretty well. Finished with a couple veggie egg rolls (oink...right) and I can avoid the conference food for another day. The food is good, the service is quick and the folks running it are very nice. If you're at a conference in Columbus, stop by...it's pretty tasty.
Stopped by Siam Express yesterday for lunch during a huge volleyball tournament at the Columbus Convention Center. I waited in line for about 15 minutes, but it was worth the wait. I ordered vegetable pad thai with Mountain Dew. I waited a bit longer than usual as my dish was cooked. My daughter ordered sesame chicken with an egg roll. My daughter liked her sesame chicken and eggroll, but she wasn't able to finish eating it because she was called back to her next volleyball game early. So I polished off her egg roll, which was tasty. The real star of the show was my vegetable pad thai. It was amazing. I wasn't expecting a great meal at the convention center, but I found one. It had a bit of heat, the noodles were delicious, the fresh egg was plentiful and tasty, and the veggies were crisp and fresh. I loved it!
